********************************

It's a good think Arizona Mary got out on Saturday. My honey and I were up early Sunday (1/16) to check out weather conditions (we heard over 3,000 flights were cancelled):

-the view out our front door

-the view out Paula's front door

-look at the perfect little icicles at the bottom up our wooden porch, and railing

then headed back to bed.

After awhile in bed…Michael left…and the dog left…and the kitties left…and I dozed and woke and dozed and woke until 11 AM!!!!!!! I had some breakfast and some tea and then had a nice chat with Mary Lee….where we are getting sleet….she is getting lots of snow and is trying to keep ahead of it by shoveling every couple of hours.

I spent the rest of the afternoon, getting my blocks into rows:

I LOVE this pattern…..can’t wait to make it again. Michael had the rest of the soup for dinner, while I had some mac ‘n’ cheese from ARBY’s before settling in for a snuggle with my honey. We are very glad we never lost power.

*** I HATE a messy house. Not enough to actually do anything about it like clean it....but enough to give it a really disgusted eye roll from where I'm sitting in front of my sewing machine :~). ***

Just got back from Raleigh. Supposed to come home Sunday but that didn't happen. Roads by Monday noon were almost dry with just a few wet spots especially on the hills. I am not sure about your new quilt on the wall. There is something that doesn't set right with me. Not sure what it is yet.
