HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!! It’s been 18 years of wedded bliss today….and I can truly say that my honey is as wonderful today as he was when we first met! I don’t know where the years went!
We got a very late start on Sunday (5/28) as we slept in after our fun, late night Saturday night.
It was a chilly morning, so Michael opted to have oatmeal for breakfast and I had berries with yoghurt. I eventually made my way downstairs and decided to try to get all of my last section of OBW blocks into rows. I got the first 4 seams sewn, then spent 1-1/2 hours pressing open the seams. It just takes forever partially because they are SO LONG, I will be so glad to be done with that part of it. As I started to sew the remaining seams, Lucy decided to join me:
That took me the rest of the afternoon, but finally, it was done:
Now I just need to figure out exactly how big the center panel will be, and exactly what I'm putting there!
It was raining all day, and when I went upstairs for dinner to take the dog out, the raindrops on our plants looked just beautiful:
-Michael's oxalis...doesn't it look like painted silver dots?
My neighbor Kay had given us a portion of her new seafood casserole, so that’s what we had for our anniversary dinner:
it was divine!!! And of course we had to have champagne, chilled with luscious IVY PLACE frozen strawberries:
We spent the evening binge watching season 6 of our show….AS TIME GOES BY.
*** Six cows were smoking joints and playing poker. That's right....the steaks were pretty high. ***
Deb and Michael, wishing you a Happy Anniversary and many more to come!!!!🥂
Happy happy Anniversary!!
Happy Anniversary you 2 lovebirds! ❤️💙
OBW looks fabulous!!! If you did the BG/MJ method, it wouldn't take 1.5 hours 😁 ❣️
Happy Anniversary!!!!! 💕🎉🍾
