I was up early on Monday (11/21) with lots of things I wanted to do. I got my blog out, then spent time figuring out my grocery list for Christmas candy making....while Cookie was dozing in the sun:
After that, I got a quilt basted:
before leaving before 1 PM for the Machine Embroidery meeting. It was a great meeting, there was lots of beautiful show and tell:
-note the ''woof'' top....stocking for her dog
And then Penny W did a program of embroidery hacks from the Dollar Store…she really knows how to think outside the box :~).
I ran several errands on the way home, including a stop at the library, where the ‘’dog’’ is dressed up for Thanksgiving:
I was home by 4 PM and I was starving, so I settled in with some potato soup until my honey got home around 5 PM…really beat, but with a score of 86. I headed downstairs while he was showering and dinner-ing, and I got about 3/4 of the way through with quilting:
before heading upstairs to snuggle and watch TV.
Old age test...courtesy of June:
During a visit to my doctor, I asked him, "How do you determine whether or not an older person should be put in an old age home?"
"Well," he said, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the person to empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," I said. "A normal person would use the bucket because it is bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No" he said. "A normal person would pull the drain plug.
Do you want a bed near a window???
Did i miss a review of the potato soup?
