My honey was up at 6 AM on Monday (5/27) for 9 holes of golf and I was up before 7 AM to work in the kitchen….I got a double run of Bailey’s mousse made (thank you Janice....it was a HUGE hit!):
Michael’s favorite giant chocolate chip cookies (because I had the oven on anyway and his cookie jar has been empty for far too long!):
and Caramel Pecan Bars:
My honey only played 9 holes, so he was home in plenty of time to get the house ready (setting up chairs and tray tables, getting out plates/napkins/silverware, making up cards to determine where people were sitting, etc) for our company, arriving at 4 PM:
-Connie & Chuck
-Carol & Ed
-Connie
my honey and Phil
-Jerry and Chuck
-Carol, (oops, caught Gale with her mouth full), Carol, Jerry
-Carol, Connie, Carol
-Pete & Kay
-Jerry and Gale
We had a dozen people and lots of yummy potluck things to go with our hot dogs (and BG I know you will not be surprised to hear that more than a few people said they were the BEST hot dogs they had ever tasted!!!!!) and desserts:
and everyone seemed to have a good time. We sat around and talked for several hours after dinner, and once everyone left, we watched the Jerry Seinfeld movie about the development of POP TARTS!
We did have one hiccup....when Michael started to grill the hot dogs...the grill wasn't heating up, so he changed out the gas cylinder....that didn't seem to make a difference :~(, so Pete stepped up to offer his grill and they moved the cooking 2 doors down!

*** RED SKELTON'S RECIPES FOR THE PERFECT MARRIAGE
I haven't spoken to my wife in 18 months. I don't like to interrupt her.
The last fight was my fault though. My wife asked, "What's on the TV?"
I said, "Dust!" ***
Looks like a nice time had by all ! Where did you or BG end up scoring the hot dogs ?
Mousse sounds delicious... I bet Dennis never ate any ! ;)
