My honey was up at o’dark hundred on Tuesday (10/10) to head out to a PT appointment for his knee, and then a filling replacement at the dentist….yuck!
I continue to get not as much done as usual, due to trying to housebreak the dog. Freya has not had an accident in the house in forever (knock wood!), but that is much more a factor of us taking her out on a regular basis…and keeping a hawk eye on her for when she seems to get antsy….rather than her letting us know that she needs to go out :~(. She is only 5 months old, and I am trying to be patient…but we got Cookie at 2 months, and by 3 months she was trained to ring the bell when she wanted to go out and never had an accident after that!!
I headed to my studio after that to load up Pam’s quilts…I got the first one loaded:
The pattern for this one was easy to pick...her fabric is full of snowflakes...and the WEST WIND series of patterns has a snowflake....so I thought it was just perfect! I got bobbins wound and the program set up and kicked off quilting:
It might be a little hard to see....so I took a picture off of the computer as well:
I worked on that until a late dinner when the quilting was done:
Michael had already headed out to the movies….so I got it cleaned up and off of the frame, but ran out of steam before trimming it. I have a second quilt from Pam….she finishes so many that she has taken to giving them to me 2 at a time!
My honey spent some time over the weekend making a card for a friend of his that had surgery recently, and is having a very slow recovery...he loves it when he can do something like this:
And now some gratuitous puppy photos:
-this is an oldie, when she still looked like a puppy
sharing mom's chair
-keeping mom company when she sews.....
a little detente downstairs

I love Pam's quilt and you are right, the quilt pattern fits the fabric perfectly! Well, Freya may not have housebreaking down, but she certainly has mastered the art of sleeping! So cute.
