Kay & Pete came over for breakfast on Sunday (9/10) and silly me…this is the only picture I took:
We had Michael’s the-best-ever potatoes, bacon and pancakes and spent a wonderful amount of time just sitting at the kitchen table talking.
When they left, we headed over to Susie and Bob’s house for another pleasant visit, and were finally home in the early afternoon to be a bit productive :~).
I got Pam’s quilt loaded up:
then worked on going through my stash to find a darker turquoise fabric for a skinny, inner border for this (Donna - this is your fabric!!!):
By then it was dinner and Michael made ravioli’s for dinner before leaving for the first rehearsal/read-through of the play at FMCP called THE OUTSIDER. Yes, he got a part and the play will be performed the first 3 weekends in November...stay tuned!
I have a couple of other pictures...Corinne changes out the quilt in her kitchen quite frequently, and I'm not sure I ever saw this one...which of course I love...so very graphic:
And Janice has finished a beautiful Bonnie Hunter leader and ender project...the colors are just gorgeous...and I could never have put gold/yellow in there, but it really makes it pop:
*** ‘’You are what you eat’’.
I don’t remember eating back aches and knee problems, but all right. ***
I really love Pam's pineapple quilt and Janice's quilt! The colors in Janice's quilt are great. Congrats to Michael!
Love janices quilt!!
When we skyped, forgot to ask if Michael got any part from his audition. Question answered! And Corinne's current quilt hanging reminds me of her Fiestaware.
