I got my blog out Friday morning (12/2) but it took a long time because it was 2 days worth, plus lots of pictures from Scrap Happy Quilting….then I started to work on the next quilt from Scrap Happy. These quilts and backs were donated by a former member, who has decided that she is no longer quilting. I’ve decided to take on 5 of them to get them quilted (other people are volunteering to bind them) and this will be quilt #3. I had a delightful surprise when I started to unfold the backing….I had thought I was going to have to piece it…but it was 108’’ wide…so no piecing…HOORAY!!! I got it basted:
then kicked off the quilting:
I worked on that until dinner and got a little over halfway done. I called the dialysis center in the afternoon and the woman told me they had had a big influx of patients recently, and she was down to 1 quilt! So, I’ve gotta get my new quilts washed and delivered next week.
Michael and I decided that we would have a double date night this week….so it started with champagne and puffy things for dinner (thanks Paula…they were so very yummy!!):
There were 3 different kinds...we'll eat the rest of them tomorrow.
And then we binge watched the first 3 episodes of ANNIKA on PBS.
So, Janice’s neighbors are putting in an in ground pool (which to me looks like it will take up their ENTIRE backyard), so Janice and Denis had ring side seats to the insert being lifted up and over the house to get to the backyard:

Its amazing what they can do with a crane. When they set our house it was a sight to see. Hope they can stick their toes is when it is up and running.
