QoV top done, Lucy, me!

I got up at 6 AM Monday morning (6/13) to make a breakfast sandwich for my honey, who was off to some sort of tournament at Raintree Country Club. I went back to bed and slept for a bit before getting back up :~). I spent the morning sewing my QoV rows together:

while watching ENDEAVOUR:THE EVOLUTION, a special behind the scenes look as the new season starts next Sunday.

After that I started to sew the squiggle quilt together:

I paused in the afternoon for an hour long conversation with an intake specialist for my knee surgery next week…I now also have a 7 AM appointment in Charlotte on Wednesday for more tests. Lucy slept through the whole thing:

I spent the evening starting the prep for my endoscopy/colonoscopy :~(.

I was up at 6 AM on Tuesday (6/14) for the second part of my endoscopy/colonoscopy prep……I’m sure you all know what a joy that was….but finally we left the house at 9:15 for Ballentyne. Everyone was nice as could be, and eventually Michael and I were on our way to THE BIG VIEW for lunch. I had chicken tortilla soup and 2 beef sliders, while Michael had blueberry pancakes and bacon. It was FREEZING in the restaurant, and Michael went back out to the car to get me a towel to wrap up in (all we had):

We were home by 1:30, and I lay down and slept until after 5 PM!!! Paula stopped by for a visit about 15 minutes after I got up…and Michael left for the movies before 6 PM. I just relaxed and watched TV after Paula left until my honey got home around 10 PM.

*** I set my clock ahead to prevent being late….but all it really did is sharpen my subtraction skills. ***

*** My doctor has told me to stop eating chocolate….so it’s going to be a big change for me. I’ve been with that doctor for nearly 20 years. ***
