We slept in on Sunday morning (1/9) so got a very late start to the day…Michael left for ALDI’s and Publix around NOON and I headed to the studio. For some reason when I was lying in bed in the morning, I had the feeling that I had never written down the quilting pattern Linda had picked. I remember she flipped back to it towards the beginning of my book of patterns….and said ‘’this is it’’, but I didn’t remember writing it down. Luckily, when I looked at the intake sheet, it was there :~). So, I got the quilt loaded and basted:
and set up the pattern and wound bobbins and kicked it off:
I continued to work until 7 PM, working on my men’s quilt in between quilting:
Michael and I split a Chicken Cesar Salad for dinner, then settled in to watch ‘’7 brides for 7 brothers’’, one of his Christmas presents, for the rest of the evening.
*** MMR - Michael's Movie Reviews ***
Don’t Look Up, available now on Netflix, a sci-fi movie with an all star cast, including Meryl Streep. Leonard DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Chris Evans. Two scientists discover a comet that is going to hit earth in 6 months and the president (Meryl Streep) dismisses them at first. Thus begins a wild ride, both funny and serious.
Politics like today and newscasters alike treat the discovery in ways you will believe and yet you wil find hard to believe! Funny, sad, romantic and ridiculous a must see!
5/5 fat quarters!

I agree with Michael's Movie Review on Don't Look Up 100% a must see. It was entertaining and riveting enough to hopefully get its message through.
