We were out shopping all morning and most of the early afternoon on Monday (12/11), pictures when our purchase finally arrives. When we got home, my honey made us a grilled ham/cheese sandwich to split for lunch…while I did a quick run of rocky road candy:
then headed to the studio. I got the pattern set up and one row done on my customer quilt, along with another small:
before it was time to leave for knitting class. Most of the knitting discussion centered on the sweater my students will be starting in January, and a new person was thrilled to learn cables! Another student was so thoughtful to give Kathy (sometime extra teacher) and me a package of cookies and a STARBUCKS gift certificate…it was totally unexpected…and lovely to be appreciated :~). The students have ALL been terrific....but I am glad to have a break until January 22nd.
And look at these gorgeous blooming cacti from June….these were out at Thanksgiving:
*** I may eat all of my Advent calendar chocolates in one sitting….but at least I eat them in order….I’m not an animal!
OMG! The Christmas cacti are SPECTACULAR! They brightened my day.
Love your Christmas Cactus - mine bloomed in November. I have to get a pink one.
