Janice and I headed out around 9:30 AM on Thursday (12/8) for our Christmas party at Scrap Happy Quilters. We had a WONDERFUL time…the food was fabulous:
we played games, and had an ugly sweater contest parade:
and heard about Susie’s display of antique machines…
and cookie cutters (some from her mom AND her grandmom!)
and Janice re-connected with old friends:
all before playing the dirty Santa game.
People brought in TONS of show & tell:
I came home with a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies for Michael as my gift…and he was thrilled.
Janice and I ran a bunch of errands after the party:we delivered 4 quilts to the dialysis center in Lancaster (I think that makes a total of 23 quilts I’ve made and delivered there), then hit the post office to mail off some Christmas goodies. After that it was a quick (and disappointing) stop at HOMEGOODS (Gale, I think what I’m looking for is too hard to describe, or I absolutely would have called my personal shopper!), looking for a deep dish round fluted pie pan, and then stopped at my physical therapy place to drop off treats for my 2 therapists before finally getting home around 3 PM.
Janice and I changed clothes and headed downstairs to continue to work on her quilt…
well…she worked on it while I worked on some labels for Scrap Happy:
We had sausage soup again for dinner and watched WHEN HARRY MET SALLY (Netflix til 12/31) in the evening.

I absolutely loved all of the Show and Tell from your Scrap Happy Quilters get-together! The food also looked very yummy. Hi Janice!
