Michael packed the car and I headed off to the bank (a deposit) and Wendy’s (breakfast…but a bit disappointing as they will no longer be carrying the breakfast burrito) before arriving at quilting. We had a wonderful group, with nice show and tell:
-Sandy made a lovely bomber jacket
On the way home I stopped at the library…where our dog statue is appropriately garbed for the season:
and got a picture from Miss Donna (librarian) of her husband, with one of my dialysis quilts:
She said he was very surprised and pleased to think that someone made it just for him. I also dropped off dog bed scraps in POD “V” and dog biscuits in "Q" (bought by mistake and way too large for Cookie), before finally making it home around 2 PM.
I had picked up new books from the library, so of course had to dive into one of those for a bit. When I headed downstairs, Michael joined me for a bit to continue building another one of his golf courses (if you watch that white circle on the right, I think he's putting in some kind of sand trap):
We had Mexican Chicken Soup again for dinner (with leftover popovers) after which I headed downstairs for just a bit of sewing….I started putting sashing into the newest QoV:
And spent the rest of the evening still reclaiming fabric from the back of the “X” quilt.
*** I don’t know how to use TikTok, but I can write in cursive, do long division and tell time on clocks with hands….so there’s that. ***
Sneaky pics of me!!!
Michael’s new arrangement is great. You two make a good team!
