Thursday (2/16) was all about quilting….Michael packed the car and I picked up Paula and we headed out at 9 AM. I did a lot of talking and listening, and very little sewing…but it was all good! We had show and tell:
-Paula went home from the binding class last week and whipped out the binding on 3 additional quilts!!!
Paula and I sat and talked in her driveway for TWO HOURS when we got home :~).
I was home before 4 PM and got caught up on my emails and my blog (while spending time out on the lanair...the weather was gorgeous!) before dinner.
Michael made a grilled ham & cheese sandwich, and that’s what we split for dinner before settling in to our movie. He saw an ad for RHAPSODY IN BLUE on TCM and had taped it….what a wonderful movie…we both absolutely love the music of George Gershwin and the movie was filled with it. We discovered very early in our acquaintance that Rhapsody in Blue was the most favorite piece of music for both of us! Alan Alda’s father played Gershwin and the resemblance to Alan was uncanny!

All the quilts are gorgeous, Debbi. Thank you for sharin.
