Thursday morning (2/9) the car was all packed and Michael dropped me off at quilting. I taught a binding-all-on-the-machine class and it was great!!! The students were attentive….asked LOTS of questions….and gave me the highest complement of all: ‘’hey – I learned something!!!’’
We had fabulous show and tell:
-this is Loree's one block wonder
-this was the original fabric she started with
isn't this quilt of Paual's unique looking?
When Paula gave me a ride home at 2 PM…I was absolutely BEAT!
The weather was beautiful and I sat out on the lanair for several hours, reading (currently a biography of the Prince of Wales) and dozing and listening to our beautiful wind chimes. I headed downstairs after that to continue to work on Leila’s quilt:
and to finish 2 more embroideries:
Michael finally got home after 5 PM from golfing….bringing a pizza with him (since someone has posted on FB that it was National Pizza Day!) I was still tired in the evening, so I didn’t even knit….just sat and watched TV with my honey.
*** I’m not really a ‘’glass half full’’ kind of person….I’m more of a ‘’where did I put my glass’’ kind of person. ***
I liked the embroidered animals-- and the one block wonder...
I’m glad the binding class went well, Junes quilting around the bunny was quite good
