Paula picked me up at 9 AM on Thursday (8/4) and we headed off to quilting. I still don’t have enough energy to haul all of my stuff in….so I just took some knitting. We had lots of wonderful show and tell:
BG - aren't these adorable!?!?
and Judy brought me home by 12:30.
I was very tired, and tried to take a nap, without success…so I finally just headed downstairs to set up and kick off a label for a QoV:
and to get my blog out.
Michael came home from errands and we packed up Cookie and took her off to the vet. When I was washing her bedding over the weekend, I noticed she had broken a tooth…..so she now has an appointment on August 11th for that to be pulled.
When we got home, I continued to stitch out the label and got more quilting done on QoV #2. I was on the phone with Mary Lee, hoping to finish up the quilting when a HUGE storm rolled in and I shut everything down! It was torrential rain and thunder….too wild. I was worried about Michael driving to rehearsal in it, but he said by the time he got to Doby’s Bridge Road, it was all over.
I had a quintessential summer dinner….tomato pie and corn on the cob, before setting in with some knitting while waiting for Michael to get home.
*** I scared the postman today by showing up to the door completely naked. I’m not sure what scared him more, the fact that I was naked or that I knew where he lived. ***
Love the camper pillows..so cute!
Loved Paula,s quilt and the 3D one!
Quintessential…… you know what that does to me!
