Diane called Friday morning (2/2) and she and her friend Colleen picked up Pat and me and we headed into Lancaster to the quilt exhibit at the Art Museum:
I would say that we knew the majority of the people whose quilts were displayed…
-this is Margaret...a Thursday quilter....her style is very distinctive
-there were several by Floy Ervin (former Thursday quilter)
-look at this free motion quilting....
and I even got a mention thanks to sweet, sweet Pam:
It must have been NOON when we left, as we got serenaded by the church bells across the street. And they did the ‘’dog art’’ tour as well, and had a beautiful statue outside:
We had lunch at Punky’s after that and it was excellent:
-Diane & Colleen
-Pat & me
and then Diane wanted to show Colleen my quilt in the Lancaster library, so we headed on over there. Isn’t this the coolest thing? Labeled ‘’Blind Date with a Book” in honor of Valentine's Day:
I couldn’t resist and had to pick one up:
I got home around 2:30 and after sitting out on the lanair with my honey for a bit (it was a gorgeous day…so gorgeous in fact that my honey did all of his toolin’ around today with the top down!), I headed back to the studio, praying that XENA would continue to behave herself as I currently have 7 (SEVEN!!!) customer quilts in the pipeline!!! I got Pam’s 3rd quilt basted:
and by then it was 8 PM and I was done for the night.

Love the quilts and your new do!
So what did you do to resolve the thread breaks?
Beautiful quilts! Love your haircut too.
What fantastic artistry! I am gobsmacked!
Thanks for the trip to the quilt show. I am going to have to go to one of those one of these years...
PS. Did you get a haircut??
