Walk About top done, FMCP set design, Card for AJ

I was up early on Saturday (6/3) to make breakfast for my honey so that he could leave at 7:30 AM for golf. I headed back to bed and managed to snag another half hour of sleep before starting my day. I had a bunch of chores to get out of the way, but finally made it to my studio. I got my blog out and started to sew the rows of my WALK ABOUT together, and before we left in the afternoon I was all done:

Several months ago I had a woman ask me if I would make a quilt for her mom, just diagnosed with Alzheimers...she mentioned that her mom likes blues/greens...like the ocean. I have sent a picture of this to her to see if she thinks her mom would like it.

In mid-afternoon, we headed across the street to a local church for a ‘’celebration of life’’ for our neighbor Bryce. It was nice to see so many other people that we knew, especially Joe, who lived beside us for 16 years, but has now gone into assisted living.

We were home for about an hour before leaving again to pick up Susan & Anne and go to the Fort Mill production of LOST IN YONKERS. Once again, the set design was incredible:

And the acting was SUPERIOR!!! I don’t know how they do it. We were home before 11 PM and sat and read for a bit before bed.

Arizona Mary has been busy making a baby quilt for a friend's daughter:

And Michael has done another hidden pictures card for AJ…there are no ‘’really tricky’’ ones in this one…so you adults should be able to find everything :~):
