Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

It took me 2 hours to get out my blog on Wednesday (5/22) morning, and that is about the only thing I got done the entire day!  Michael left for golf and I sat in the living room, reading….and dozing….and reading….and dozing….and reading....recovering from retreat!

It was champagne and puffy things for dinner (to celebrate my return from the retreat) and snuggling together Wednesday night.

Thursday (5/23) was all about quilting and wonderful show & tell:

-this will be Kathy's class in June...

and I got home around 2 PM….in time to relax for just a bit (my honey was out golfing) before another meeting with the tax guy to go over some stuff from my sister’s probate.

I zipped out to the airport to pick up Diane after dinner….coming home from Scotland….unfortunately, she came home with a cold :~(.

We had pizza for dinner and watched TV in the evening….another boring but wonderful day in our lives….

I was up early Friday morning (5/24) to pay some bills, and snarf down an egg/cheese/toast from my honey (I missed them while on retreat!)

Judy was a doll and came by to help me plant my dahlias, then it was off to the dermatologist to take care of a callus on my face. Once home I went back to unpacking my project box to see what needed to be finished off.  I need a border on my Beds=Dreams quilt, but only got the fabric out before these 2 arrived:

Sonya & Kathy wanted to see how the long arm worked, from loading up to beginning stitching, so that took up the afternoon as I loaded up Sandy’s newest quilt and got 2 rows quilted:

By then it was dinnertime and Michael and I had salads and corn on the cob (excellent for the first of the season) and settled in to watch several episodes of WILL TRENT.

My wife told me the car wasn't running well because there was water in the carburetor. I asked where the car was. She told me, "In the lake."

She got a mud pack and looked great for two days. Then the mud fell off. ***

What is Kathy holding up in the 2nd and 3rd pictures of her? Looks like a fleece neck warmer😄

Also is she wearing an apron? Is it to catch the sewing threads? I should do that, my clothes are always covered in threads
