This is what happened all day Wednesday (11/29):
-all of the stuff that was stored under XENA got moved to the pool table...and Lucy sat there through the entire installation...just keeping an eye on things!
-carefully removing my sew head
-and carefully putting the sewhead back on:
-testing it out
I now have a 12 foot frame for my longarm machine and can complete quilts with one measurement of 115’’, and the other measurement, whatever the customer wants :~).
While that was happening, I did manage to get a card stitched out:
My weaving group decided to exchange ornaments or cards at our Christmas party….so I decided to make a card. Also, another longarm customer wanted a label, so I got that done as well:
I don’t know why I was so tired in the evening, but I was….so I only did a little bit of knitting.

Thursday (11/30) was charity day at quilting. I was determined to take something for breakfast, so I took my newly revised recipe for the cranberry pecan coffee cake….and it was a HUGE hit!:
After that we broke into groups with some people ironing, and some people stitching down labels and some people tying knots on the quilts:
-I caught Denise just as she took a forkful of coffee cake
And some of us making sure we had a fun time:
It was a very productive day, with some lovely show and tell as well:
I took a long nap when I got home, then made meatloaf for dinner:
It was heavenly…Susie mentioned that she makes meatloaf about once a month...and I was immediately jealous!!!
We snuggled on the couch afterwards and watched TV.
And 10 years ago on the 30th: https://foodandfiberfloozie.blogspot.com/2013/11/cookie-elsie-trois-phil-gale.html
*** It’s all fun and games until your oversized shirts start to be form fitting. ***
*** What’s the best part of a waffle? The “W”…without it, it’s just awful! ***
Your embroidered Christmas card is fabulous! I love all of the colors and the way they flow into each other. Beautiful show and tell! The quilts with the Christmas wreaths are especially nice.
Can't wait to meet "grown-up" Xena !
Wow, that long arm machine is incredible!
( & so was the Cranberry Orange Cake!)
