Well - I started yesterday's blog saying 'Saturday', but it was really all about Friday. Below is Saturday's write-up :~).

Saturday (10/2) again started with flowers....the sunflowers in the pot have FINALLY started to bloom (is that not perfection?):

I left my honey making his omelet in the kitchen and headed downstairs to get my blog out.

After that…it was tackling the third customer quilt:

Michael came downstairs while I was basting, to fill the bird feeders and play ‘’catch me daddy’’ with Cookie:

I worked on the quilt all afternoon and am over half way done:

and I got the first set of red/white HST's done:

I have to do 3 sets of these.

When I went upstairs, I thought Cookie looked so cute with her cocked over the front of the chair:

It was date night:

so we got cleaned up and headed into Charlotte for:

We were home relatively early (10:30 PM) so sat and read for a bit. I was up until almost 1 AM, finishing THE ROSE CODE by Kate Quinn (thanks Janice!!!) If you haven’t read it yet, add it to your list…it’s about code breaking during WWII and it was an EXCELLENT read!
