Overturning Roe requires another law be passed the ensures men bear equal responsibility for pregnancies. Call it the ‘‘Personal Responsibility Act’’. Using DNA as a verification, paternity of every embryo should be established and the man responsible obliged by law to support the woman and the child through the child’s majority, including medical costs, living costs, education – all the costs a father normally assumes for his children. In addition, the child should have a full share of the father’s estate if and when the father dies. If women cannot decide whether or not to carry a child, fathers should not be able to decide whether or not to support the woman and the child. It’s about time men assumed responsibility for the consequences of their pleasure. Robert Veitch, Richfield
I wonder how many men who are all for banning abortion, would stand up for this?

I headed out at 9 AM on Tuesday morning (5/10) to pick up Laura for our trip to Corinne’s. Her quilts were lovely (as always):
-I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one....
and I got way too much fabric (as always!!):
I was looking for bigger pieces that I could also use as backing and found several of those, as well as some flower prints and a few more batiks…I do NOT need to go back for a very long time (we’ll see how that goes)!
I got home and talked with my honey, then had a visit with Paula, who came to see what I got. She is having carpel tunnel surgery next Tuesday….please put her on your prayer list.
I got back to quilting my men’s quilt and finished up just after Michael left to pick up Larry for the movies:
I spent the rest of the evening cutting and making HST’s for my new QoV…all of my strips are complete except for the 2 that I will demo with at quilting on Thursday. I finished up about 15 minutes before Michael got home….perfect timing.
