Friday morning (1/19) Michael drove me down to Loree’s house to drop off soup as she had minor surgery on Thursday and was on soft foods. Once we got home, Michael ran through his emails, then left for lunch with his men’s club, and I headed to the studio….to finally beard the lioness in her den….that’s XENA for those of you who might not have gotten the reference.
With my heart pounding and in my throat, I kicked off quilting and ….nothing! Thread breakage continues :~(….I was so disgusted after 3 hours of trying different things, that I wrote a long post on FB in my longarm group, and headed upstairs to try to relax and read. Within 5 minutes my dealer called me!!! Another dealer on the thread figured out who my dealer is…and called him and he called me. We tried a variety of things, to no avail. I finally had to hang up to get cleaned up and pick up Kay & Pete and head off to TRIO’s to meet Diane and Mark.
We all had a wonderful dinner:
-I had a rib eye steak
-my honey had the 3 cheese tortellini with scallops
then everyone headed back to our place to play TELESTRATIONS. At one point Diane was laughing so hard that she got me laughing like crazy! What a wonderful and fun evening after such a frustrating day.
*** If any of you know how to fix broken hinges….my door is always open. ***
Trio’s is just the best! One of the best things about being from Charlotte was always going there through the many years. (I feel so badly for you & can only imagine how frustrated you must be with Xena. Xo)
Hope you get "that thing" working soon. Zena is not living up to her name as a hospitable person.
Fabulous time dahling!
