My honey got picked up before 8 AM on Saturday (8/21) for golf offsite, while I got my emails done and made a quick egg-cheese-toast made before heading to my studio. I had 3 tasks I wanted to accomplish today…so I dove right in.

Getting my quilt all cleaned up, off of the frame, trimmed and on the to-be-bound pile was the first task:

After that I reclaimed the backing fabric, and got binding made for this quilt:

as well as a label:

My honey came home around 2 PM with a scorching score of 78 and 2 birdies!!! Birdie streak up to FIVE!!!!

But once the back was on I decided I had worked enough for one day and headed upstairs to read. I finished THE GUEST LIST by Lucy Foley (Janice…was this recommendation from you?) I didn’t like the time jumping around with each chapter, but it was worth it to get to the ending which you would NEVER GUESS IN A MILLION YEARS!!!! Highly recommended!

We had the leftover pasta dish for dinner and started to watch THE BEAST MUST DIE….a 6 episode show about a hit-and-run accident. It totally sucked us in and I can’t wait to watch the next 4 episodes.

*** ATTENTION….ATTENTION…The flights have been booked, the recipes are being culled and ingredients are being bought. The BAKING WITH INEZ 2021 TOUR will commence on September 17th and run through September 24th. Some (all?) of what we are making will create too many servings just for our household, so if you live within driving distance of this blog, and would like to be invited to taste test when we have too much food, please let me know in the next couple of days. I will start a list and you will be on it!!!
