Michael left around 8:30 AM on Wednesday (10/13) to take the car in for service…and I got my blog out before SKYPE-ing with Janice for almost 2 hours!!! After a bite of breakfast, I headed to the studio. I reclaimed the backing fabric from the squiggle quilt, and cut down a bunch of leftover fabric into the appropriate scrap sizes. After that I finally got to sew some of my leftover binding 4 patches together:

I cleaned out one of my drawers and will just keep these in there until I have enough for a quilt.

Paula stopped down in the afternoon with 2 big slices of sourdough bread for Michael’s gas housers, and the cutest mini-loaf for me:

Michael managed to score pierogies when he was out and about yesterday, so that was dinner. We snuggled on the couch for the rest of the evening….enjoying a rare evening off for Michael and watching our shows.

Janice finished the blocks for her 9 patch quilt....a perfect bed quilt for a teen-aged boy (BG - check out the one full square, almost dead center of the quilt from your scraps for Jennifer's boyfriend):

*** Love this time of year when you can dig graves in your front yard....and people think it's just a cute display. ***
