Blue embroidery quilts laid out, pizza, mom & dad

I had an 8 AM tele-computer appointment Monday morning (3/27) with my CPAP doctor….it started out stressful getting signed in and everything, but ultimately was much better than driving there (25 minutes) for a 5 minute conversation! There’s never much to say….unless I have a cold I am in 100% compliance with using my CPAP. She asks if I am having any problems…and that’s it! Unfortunately, I’m not sure they’re going to be doing those in the future….darn!

My honey headed out after that for the chiro, golf store, bird store and grocery store, getting home at NOON, just in time for me to leave for my own chiro appointment with a new doctor. I really liked the guy I went to 2 – 3 weeks ago, but his office hours are not convenient, and it took 2-1/2 to 3 hours out of my day (office is in uptown), and being a 1 car family…it just wasn’t conducive to my continuing with him. I asked about chiro at quilting and found someone close by, and I really liked him. My lower back has been killing me…it is so tight and inflexible…makes it hard and painful to stand, sit or walk…so that pretty much covered everything! I have another appointment on Wednesday to go over my x-rays and develop a treatment plan. I was home by 2 PM and got the binding made for my Rail Fence on point:

before dropping back to working on my embroidery quilt tops. I got that beautiful, blue fabric cut and laid out for both:

but only got 1 sewn together:

before it was suddenly 7 PM and time to eat! We made a pizza tonight:

-homemade pesto from basil grown last summer

-I decided on a drizzle of balsamic for mine

and it was yummy.

We binge-watched 3 episodes of 911 – Lone Star before bed.

A friend of mine recently thought he saw a woman who looked a lot like my mom, but said he couldn't really remember what my dad looked like. I told him I'd send a pic.....this is my parents in their 80's:

I have a longarm customer who brought me a quilt to do, from her friend in Florida. It's back home now and apparently her cat loves it and won't ever get off of it....maybe she smells Lucy & Ethel?

*** No, I don’t spend all of my time sewing….sometimes I spend HOURS on PINTEREST looking for my next project :~). ***

That is a great picture of your parents! They were really nice people who always spoke their minds. I remember one of the first times we all went out to dinner at IUP and your mom told me she had never seen such white teeth in anyone. I didn't know what to say. Miss them. The blue and white embroidery quilt is beautiful!

Good pic of your parents. Wish I had one of both of my parents together.
