********************************

Sunday (12/26) was a very relaxing day…Michael made himself breakfast:

while I was downstairs working on my blog…then he delivered mine:

I kicked off an embroidery label for the quilt:

and set up the program and got bobbins wound and kicked off the quilting (I took a picture of the pattern on the computer, since it's very hard to see on the quilt):

I got 3 – 4 Christmas Specials recorded from CALL THE MIDWIFE (all different years), so I had a wonderful time starting to watch them. I also started a new PBS show called RFDS, that I think I will really like. Of course, I definitely have to have the closed captions on with that one…I have no hope of understanding their Australian accents :~).

Cathy L called in the afternoon and I headed out to the lanair to sit and chat (it was a gorgeous day and very warm). We had a nice, long conversation and got caught up on everything! While I was sitting there, I was looking at 2 washed dialysis quilts that Michael and I hung out there to dry (then I’ll put them in the dryer for just 5 – 10 minutes). I wish you could all be here to see the colors…they are so very rich in person…but you’ll just have to settle for a (not nearly as good as in person) picture:

I started another embroidery for a small quilt I hope to have finished by the end of January….it took FOREVER to stitch out (tons of stitches), but isn’t it stunning:

This is what I'm going to use my bubble fabric with, instead of the bathtub cuties that I've decided not to stitch out anymore.

Michael and I gathered up all of our Christmas cards for SCCL people and set out after our chicken Cesar Salad dinner, to deliver and check out the lights. We had a wonderful time talking, delivering and checking out everything and when we eventually got home, I made hot chocolate and Michael made popcorn and we snuggled and watched NORTHERN EXPOSURE and AS TIME GOES BY.

Eagle-eyed reader Anne identified this:

the kitchen basket as the ‘’secret project’’ I was working on earlier last week!

*** I wish I could drop my body off at the gym….and pick it up when it’s ready! ***
