We opened the windows Thursday night and the house was gloriously cool when we got up on Friday morning (9/3)!! Michael decided it was a perfect day for an omelet and eating out on the lanair:
Of course….all of our furry kids love the lanair as well:
Once my honey was done with his breakfast, he made me the usual egg/cheese/toast:
delivered with beautiful flowers as well:
I got my blog out and then got my customer quilt loaded up (isn't this the cutest thing??):
and kicked off the quilting:
I worked on it until just before 3 PM…and since it was such a small quilt, it was done. I headed into Waxhaw then to pick up my left hearing aid, which had been out for repair. I read my book for just a bit when I got home before heading to the driveway to set up for a driveway party.

We sat and talked for about 2 hours and had a very enjoyable time before everyone left. Since by then it was 7 PM, Michael had cereal for dinner and I had half of a giant peach before settling in to watch THE GREAT BRITISH BAKING SHOW!
Janice did another layout of her newest leaders and enders blocks....she and I both like this one (with the fishes all swimming) the best!!!
*** I envy people that grow old gracefully...they age like a fine wine. I'm aging like milk....getting sour and chunky. ***
Can we make butter from the sourness?
