Breakfast with the ladies

Another huge jump. I have a couple of friends who are active nurses at this time and they are in despair. Not only because of the huge number of infections in the non-vaccinated, but because they are seeing heart/lung and cognitive issues with the Delta variant.

I left the house before 9 AM on Tuesday (8/24) for breakfast with the ladies at Le Peep:

My breakfast was certainly large enough to bring home half for a second breakfast on Wednesday:

I was home after 11 AM only to pick up the car and head out to PT.

I was finally home again around 1:30 and spent time getting caught up on emails before quilting a bit more on Sandy’s quilt. While Sandy’s quilt was stitching out, I spent time trying to draft out directions for a new pattern based on a picture I saw….I have WAY TOO MANY hot-to-start projects!! And need to spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME figuring out how to make them :~). Anyway, the quilting was finished:

by the time Michael left to pick up our crab sandwiches at the Lodge :~). He picked up Larry at 6 PM and off to the movies they went, while I made a start on putting the binding on another quilt:

*** ATTENTION….ATTENTION…The flights have been booked, the recipes are being culled and ingredients are being bought. The BAKING WITH INEZ 2021 TOUR will commence on September 17th and run through September 24th. Some (all?) of what we are making will create too many servings just for our household, so if you would like to be invited to taste test when we have too much food, please let me know in the next couple of days. I will start a list and you will be on it!!!
