I had a horrible night’s sleep Monday night :~(. I never have any idea why this happens (although I am very grateful that it seems to be happening way less often than it used to), but I was awake from 2 AM until around 5:30 AM. I guess it was good I was on the fainting couch during that time…and a bit of a ways away from Michael’s germs. As a result, other than getting Mexican Chicken Soup in the crockpot Tuesday morning (2/8)…I kind of dozed away the morning until 11:30 when I took off for a weaving meeting at Pam’s house. There were 5 of us (and dummy me forgot to take any pics), but we had a good time until I got home around 3 PM.
Michael is still feeling punky, so I stayed upstairs with him for a bit before he decided to try to nap, and I headed to my studio. I got to start cutting my quilt strips for a ''charms on point'' quilt:
and got through all of the colors except the pink before heading upstairs for a late dinner. My honey appreciated the Mexican Chicken Soup and we watched TV for just a bit before heading to bed early.
*** Being an older adult is mostly about:
-being exhausted
-wishing you hadn’t made plans
-waiting to take your bra off
-wondering how you can fall asleep and stay asleep
-missing someone or something
-becoming forgetful
-craving foods that you know you shouldn’t eat
-worrying about things that haven’t happened yet
-and wondering how you got that bruise… ***
My germs are your germs! I always share!
