Eggs Up Grill, AJ B-day card, theatre pic and super heroes

At the Board of Peace, Donald Trump abruptly began praising Melania Trump and her movie. “She has a very successful movie out right now, like number one. Can you believe this? Big movie star, and I always say it’s trouble, because I always say there’s not room in one family for two stars. I told her that we can’t have two stars in one family, so I don’t know what that means. It’s not good.”

Trump also claimed that Melania, the movie, “became the biggest-selling documentary in 20 years. The theatres are all packed. Women, especially, they go back, and they see it two or three times, four times.”

Can you spell DELUSIONAL?!?!?

We were up at o’dark hundred on Friday (3/6) to make the echocardiogram appointment in Rock Hill, then my honey took me out to breakfast at EGGS UP grill.  He made a pit stop first, and when he came back I said ‘’I’m ordering for you….I found the perfect thing’’.  It was Crème Brulee French Toast (Crème Brulee is his FAVORITE dessert), and he agreed it sounded and looked:

AWESOME!

I had a potato bowl:

which was yummy and I brought half of it home.  We made a quick stop at the Post Office (to get AJ’s birthday card hand stamped and in the mail):

and were home just before 11 AM.

Michael came downstairs with me to help me book flights to visit Arizona Mary in April (she can’t come to QUAP this year and I am really going to miss her….so am going out ahead of time for a little visit).  Booking flights is always a totally stressful experience for me these days….so many things on the page to check out (and check or not), making sure name is perfect, no cancellation (unless you want to pay extra for it…..in fact…everything is extra!!!)  Anyway, finally it was done and Michael and Freya went out to the backyard to play, while I dove into quilting.

I hope to ‘’quilt my brains out’’ this weekend, and get through several of my customer quilts.  I got Pam’s first quilt loaded up:

and made a first pass of 3 rows with only 1 break:

so that was excellent.  By then it was time to get cleaned up and head to Fort Mill for the opening night of THE COTTAGE.

What a funny play, and what great acting, not a weak one in the bunch.  We laughed a lot and got to visit with old theatre friends who were also there.  We just read for about an hour when we got home before bed.

And Michael took the picture above and turned us into super heroes:

And Freya into super dog!:

I got up Saturday (3/7) with the knowledge of 2 full days ahead of me with nothing to do but quilt!  The fridge is full of food (so I don’t have to worry about dinner) and I have lots of customer quilts to get through).

Sharon stopped by to see if she could pick up some variety for a patriotic quilt she wants to make that I showed at show and tell last week, and Pat stopped by to visit and get on the list for quilting her mirror, mirror!

My honey was out running errands, which included getting a free cookie with a free cup of coffee from LOWE’s foods.

I worked on Pam’s first quilt for the rest of the day and by dinnertime, all of the quilting was done and I had the ends woven in.  We started season 3 of DARK WINDS in the evening.

It was a lovely, cool morning when we got up on Sunday (3/8) and I had breakfast out on the lanair before heading to the studio to load up Pam’s second quilt:

I had 2 breaks during the first path….which wasn’t great….but wasn’t horrible either:

For the rest of the time, I started to sew together my crossroads blocks:

We had some kind of leftovers for dinner, and watched 3 more episodes of DARK WINDS…but this season has 8 episodes….so we’ll do the last 2 hopefully Monday night.

I was at the library Monday morning (3/9) for the craft group, and Ashley had this cute little mouse:

then I headed to route 160 for my electrolysis appointment.  I was home by 12:30 PM and had time to start up XENA before following my honey up South Blvd to drop off his Mustang to get the air conditioning fixed.

We were home again by 3:30 and I attempted to quilt, and again, encountered a lot of breakage.  I just stopped and dropped back to sewing together blocks from my Crossroads quilt.

We finished up season 3 of DARK WINDS…..WOW….what a story line.

Your super hero's outfits are beautiful. Aren't you glad we don't have to wear those things as they look uncomfortable. Don't see how anyone can "fight " in them.
