(BTW – Paula’s carpal tunnel surgery went well and she was on her way home by 10 AM).
Michael had a 9 AM haircut on Tuesday (5/17) and then took Cookie for a walk when he got home. I headed to my studio to work on the next men’s quilt:
I got all of the basting ripped out and the bobbin ends woven in, but didn’t get it trimmed as my table was covered with the blue quilt squares I was continuing to sew into rows.
I left just before 1 PM for our monthly Fiber Nutz meeting:
-Carol & Marilyn
-Sheila
-Rosalie & Pam
We had a new member there….Carol…who brought some beautiful show and tell (he hubby was a re-enactor, and this is an authentially accurate shirt she wove and made for him to wear):
When I finally got home, Michal and I both had salads for dinner (with ham and cheese) and then he settled in to watch a movie, while I headed downstairs. I had a lovely 2 hour conversation with Mary Lee, then watched a bit of TV before re-joining my honey for some reading.
*** I’m not saying I’m old and worn out, but I make sure I’m nowhere near the curb on trash day. ***
*** I've always dreamed of having 2 men at once!
One to cook...and one to clean! ***
