Michael didn’t go golfing on Monday (9/4), so we had a relaxing breakfast together before starting our day.
I headed to the studio to continue quilting on the ‘’baseball’’ quilt, while he played for a long time with Freya. Eventually they joined me and Freya was tuckered out and spent a long time in her bed….how this can be at all comfortable…when she’s practically lying on her head is beyond me:
I was very glad to be finished with the quilting by late afternoon….when you have a quilt like this one, with multiple weights of fabric in the quilt top, it takes a lot of watching…the plain squares are made out of sweatshirt material…and the ‘’Braves’’ patches are regular quilting cotton:
At least the quilting pattern shows up nicely on the sweatshirt material. Lucy was snuggling in a chair while I worked on the quilt:
Diane stopped by to drop off her Christmas Tree Skirt for quilting, and after that Michael and I headed up to the Lodge for hotdogs for dinner.
We spent the evening watching TV and relaxing.
