Although it was still overcast on Friday (12/16), it wasn’t actively raining, so after breakfast (oatmeal for my honey, egg/cheese/toast for me), we headed out to various neighborhoods to gift a bunch of the candy I had made:
We had our list and Michael figured out an efficient route to drive, and we were home by NOON and I headed downstairs to sew together the FINAL rows of my QoV, and get all of my seams pressed open:
I guess I kept getting only snippets of time to do this…it seemed to take forever to get it into rows, but finally by dinnertime, it was done.
We had Italian Wedding Soup from the freezer for dinner, and then binge watched FOUR HOURS of MAGPIE MURDERS (PBS)….even though we both could barely keep our eyes open, I wanted to keep going because I can’t wait to find out who the murderer is, but I guess Saturday night will come soon enough (when we watch the last 2 episodes).
And Michael's been working on another personalized card....I'll entertain guesses as to who it is for:
*** Hello darkness my old friend.....
Soon you'll be here at 4 PM.... ***
Sing along with me....
*** When....the.....moon hits your eye like it's 4:45...it's....December! ***
*** I shall take you to bed and have my way with you….I will make you ache…..and shake….and sweat until you moan and groan….I will make you beg me to stop!! And when I am finished….you will be weak for days. Sincerely, The Flu ***
