Interesting....no?

Michael and I had a relaxing Tuesday morning (2/11) in the living room, eating our breakfast and reading until almost lunchtime, then it was back to the salt mines.

I didn’t get a lot done on the current quilt because I ran into a thread break problem yesterday and got thoroughly disgusted and just shut everything down.  I booted up XENA today hoping for a better outcome, but it was not to be :~(.

I continued to have breakage so again, I just did 2 rows and stopped to work on other stuff instead. When Janice was here awhile ago, she found a box lid with a half started project in it:

I really like the focus fabric, so I kept it, hoping to make a project out of it. My honey came down and started to layout the blocks (there are also LARGE half square triangles):

I have to admit, even thought I love that fabric, I've decided I'm not going to take this on....so I need to find someone who is interested in this half started quilt.

Golf was cancelled on Wednesday (2/12) because it was rainy, yucky, gray and cold!  So, my honey stayed home and finished up another ‘’find the differences'' puzzle for AJ:

(there are over 40 differences)

and got it shipped off.

I SKYPE’d with Janice in the morning, then left for my massage.  My masseuse has been changing her schedule  a bit too much lately, so I tried someone new…..WOW…he was terrific and I have now switched to him for my next 3 appointments so that I didn’t have to change my original appointments to different days and times.  When I came home, I hit the studio again, determined to finish Sandy’s quilt.  I wanted to be able to trim it at quilting, so that meant I had to finish quilting it.  I finally got that done by dinnertime and spent an hour getting all of the ends woven in.

Thursday (2/13) was all about quilting.  Michael packed up the car and I headed out.  I started to work on my new Beds=Dreams quilt and got about a third of my strata sewn together.  We had a bit of show and tell:

-Linda....continuing her quest to donate 12 quilts this year to the Linus project, and she is quilting them all herself!!

I was home around 3 PM and as much as I kept talking to myself about going downstairs and doing something…..I sat in my chair reading :~).

We have food trucks that come to SCCL on a regular basis, but apparently our new LIFESTYLE person doesn’t believe in the same trucks coming the same day each month anymore (bummer, heaven forbid we should be able to PLAN for it and put it on our calendars!!) so the crab truck was here unexpectedly, and that’s what we had for dinner.

And 10 years ago......
