Happy Anniversary!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!! Seventeen incredible years with the love of my life :~)!

Michael headed out fairly early for golf on Saturday (5/28), and after I got the kitchen all cleaned up, I headed downstairs to get my blog out. I mentioned I got a new color cut for the squiggle quilt….I made the HST's then got all 6 blocks laid out in the color:

and got them sewn together:

Since XENA is now empty, I was all set to load her up with a couple of QoV’s, when a customer texted me….she has another quilt, and needs it relatively soon….so XENA will remain empty until tomorrow morning when I get the quilt.

I got a label made for the chandelier quilt:

and I got my 3rd squiggle color cut and made all of the HST’s:

then laid it out and started sewing it together:

before stopping for dinner.

As I mentioned, it was our anniversary….so you know that means champagne (with those luscious, totally ripe frozen IVY PLACE strawberries):

and puffy things. I talked to Michael earlier about our puffy things….it’s been ten L_O_N_G weeks since I’ve had my favorite food in the whole world….so that’s what our puffy things turned into:

YEP – pizza….and it was heaven!

After dinner, Michael took me out for a romantic serenade at Vinny’s Cher du Cul-De-Sac:

then it was a 9-1-1 TV marathon back home before bed.

I’m putting out another plug….the movie HAMSTEAD on NETFLIX….it was excellent!!!

*** At my age, rolling out of bed in the morning is the easy part.
