Happy Thanksgiving!!!!, Totally finished quilt

Janice and I SKYPE-ed Wednesday morning (11/24), after which I headed to the kitchen to make a late breakfast. Cookie kept wandering around the table…so I finally pulled out a chair and pushed it nearer to the window and into the sunlight….she promptly hopped up and settled in :~):

She’s just like a cat…seeking the sun/warmth.

Eventually I made my way back downstairs…set up the program and kicked off the quilting:

I think I love it….I wanted something with a lot of movement….and this is it.

While that was stitching out, I started to sew the 4 patch together:

Michael got a free seed hanging thing from the bird store:

So he hung it from a shepard's hook out near the trees...maybe we'll attract some more deer with it!

My quilting was totally done by dinnertime:

and I finally had enough energy in the evening to stitch down my QoV label….so I have a TOTALLY FINISHED QUILT (can you tell…I just love those words!):

*** I just shot my first turkey!!! Scared the heck out of the people in the frozen foods section… ***
