Remember a week or so ago when I had trouble up loading pictures to the blog? Well, in order to write my blog, I first transfer pictures from my phone into a file on my computer. Then within the blog software, I up load the pictures from the computer to a holding area. I use the holding area to place the pictures in the correct place in the blog write-up, and then I delete (move to trash) the pictures from the holding area. When I had the problem, the blog gave me an error that I couldn't up load any more pictures until I emptied my trash, because it was full. I didn't know how to do that, so I got someone on the phone who eventually (she didn't know how either) showed me where the trash was, and how to delete it. Well...it turns out that when you delete the pictures from the trash...they also disappear from the blog!!! There is no way around this other than to put ads on the blog, or to pay for more storage...neither of which I am inclined to do....so all of the older pics are gone. I'm going to try to set up a task on my phone so that every month, I only delete pictures from a year ago.....probably no one will be going back that far....but I am bummed as I like posting the ''5 years ago'' blogs occasionally, and that won't be possible anymore...it would be just words and not any pictures
:~(. If anyone knows of how else it could work on WIX blogs, please let me know.

Saturday (4/8) was a drizzly, dreary day….perfect for staying inside and quilting :~). I continued cutting my HST’s:
and putting them in my QUAP project box:
It took forever and it may all be for naught! Michael and I spent quite a bit of time trying to draw out the pattern…remember this show and tell from a couple of weeks ago:
Well, I loved it…but wanted it to be bigger, so we started trying to draw it. We were trying to expand from an 8 block by 8 block quilt, into a 12 block by 16 block pattern. This was our second attempt:
I think it’s dynamic, but not sure it is correctly replicating the pattern. Michael drew it out evenly:
but somehow I think this is boring. At this point I’m willing to settle for something that looks pleasing and even, as neither one of us could figure out how the pattern should be expanding!
I got a label made for Paula:
and got 2 rows sewn for the OBW, but not pressed. I got backing cut and loaded on XENA for 2 dialysis quilts, and one batting cut and laid on, but laying on the quilt was as far as I got with that:
We had a wonderful evening of champagne (chilled with lovely frozen strawberries from THE IVY):
and our favorite puffy things (thanks Anne!):
while we watched the movie GALAXY QUEST, and then 2 episodes of THE GREAT BRITISH BAKING SHOW, PROFESSIONAL EDITION.
Look at our silly puppy, she assumes the position any time we take a bathroom break:
So, Arizona Mary sent Michael’s ‘’hidden pictures’’ card to her grandkid, and this is a video of him finding things:
I figured this was appropriate for today:
***Friend: How’s the diet going?
Me: Not good, I had eggs for breakfast.
Friend: Fried? Scrambled? Over easy?
Me: Cadbury ***
Your quilt needs to alternate the colors instead of in a row?
