Michael headed out for his usual day of errands on Tuesday morning (9/12), while I headed to the library (where our resident mascot is dressed for the heat):
I had a meeting with the head librarian, Nancy, as I will begin teaching beginning knitting at the library on Monday evenings starting in October. I am VERY EXCITED about this….I even have a friend from Machine Embroidery who is excited to teach it with me!
I played with Freya and kept her occupied until my honey got home, and then I headed to the studio to do the clean-up on Pam’s quilt. I got that cleaned up and trimmed and got my inner border cut and pieced for the strip twist quilt.
We were totally out of bread, so I got that put together and baked:
and ran a loaf down to Loree’s as a tiny thank you for Reg fixing 2 of my lamps. Our latest family member (good thing she’s so cute):
chewed through them, and Reg got them working again. I’m still cleaning up stuff in my studio, so that took me through the rest of the day/evening, while my honey was watching SPARTUCUS upstairs.
*** Why is everyone at the gym asking me why I’m sitting still on the stationary bike? I’m going downhill, dude, mind your business. ***
Actually watched Escape from New York as Sparticus was 3 hours!
