LLB dinner

My honey made me breakfast (yes...I took a bite before I remembered to take a pic :~):

before taking Cookie for a walk first thing Sunday morning (5/29). After I ate, I headed to my computer to get my blog out.

And after that it was back to sewing the 3rd squiggle color together:

all the while watching MAMA MIA…the music of ABBA certainly put me in a great mood to finish up.

Michael came downstairs to work on his golf course:

and we started to watch something old/new together.

About a year ago, PBS started a series called VIENNA BLOOD. Well actually, by the time we started watching it, it was season 2. Mary Lee said if we hadn’t seen season 1, we wouldn’t understand some (a lot?) of the stuff that was going on….so we stopped taping it. Now we have access to something called PASSPORT (because we contribute to PBS), so we watched the first 2 episodes of VIENNA BLOOD season 1…and they were fabulous (thank you Mary Lee!!) Kind of like GRANTCHESTER only instead of a detective and a vicar, it’s a detective and a mind doctor…and it’s set in 1906 Vienna. While we were watching, I got out the 4th color for the squiggle quilt and got started on that:

Eventually we got cleaned up and headed over to Red Rocks Café for dinner with Michael’s LLB group:

while I had a rib eye steak with broccoli and asparagus:

We had a great time talking, and didn’t make it home until almost 9:30 PM. We watched a GREAT BRITISH BAKING SHOW before heading to bed.

If you’re a nut about Julia Child (like I am!), there’s a new movie on CNN, on tonight!!! (Monday night).
