I hopped up early Monday morning (6/20) to make Connie’s raspberry/chocolate oatmeal bars:
to take to our Machine Embroidery luncheon. Joyce put on a very nice lunch for all of us:
and there was TONS of beautiful show and tell as well:
I hit the grocery store on the way home, and was home by 3 PM. I immediately started worrying about my honey….he only had an hour in Philly to change planes…of course they were in 2 different terminals (he landed in "F" and had to get to "B" via a shuttle bus and lots and lots of walking)…and I hadn’t yet heard that he made it onto the second plane. I put away the groceries and started praying HARD and finally at 3:19 (with a 3:35 PM departure time) he texted that he was on the plane….WHEW!!! The plane landed early, so of course I wasn’t there, but eventually I picked him up and we were home before 7 PM. We had a simple dinner and snuggled on the couch for the rest of the night….both of us SO VERY GLAD he was home :~).
*** I don’t know who needs to know this (that's not strictly true...I'm sure my HONEY will love this!), but even if a bear wears socks and shoes….he still has bear feet. ***
thanks for all the embroidery photos. Did you have one in the bunch ?
Glad M made it to his plane in time ! Hope we see more photos of AJ !
Embroidery out of this world! Super eagle, roses, pie, and the rainbow bridge!
