Michael left at 8 AM for golf on Wednesday (10/4) while I headed out for blood work, then stopped at the library. There are 2 more people who want to join my knitting class, but I’ve asked them to wait until October 23rd, when I will have an additional person to help me.
I came home and had some breakfast before finally making my way to the studio to continue to work on Sandy’s quilt. I finished up the quilting around 4 PM:
then spent another hour getting it cleaned up and off of my frame.
Michael and I had soup for dinner, then he left for rehearsal and I started to load up Darlene’s quilt, but I was really, really tired, so after I got one side on, I headed upstairs for knitting and watching TV.
Remember I told you Paula was making a t-shirt quilt for our former mail carrier? Here it is...totally finished:
What hair color do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men?
Love the Postal quilt! It is a very nice tribute for someone who spent a career serving the public. It looks like Paula really got 'carried' away!
Good job Paula, the t-shirt quilt looks great. I am sure Phillis will be thrilled with it.
FYI, I loved ❤️ the picture of you at the retreat, forgot to tell you. Paula really went Postal on the tee shirt quilt! 😂
