Men's quilt on XENA (#1)

Michael left for golf Monday morning (5/9) and I eventually headed to my studio. I got out my new bolt of 108’’ neutral and ripped off 5 yards and loaded it up on XENA:

The streaks on the quilt backing are where I sprayed it with water to get out the wrinkles. And for those newer readers wondering who XENA is:

That's my longarm...nameplate and all :~).

The backing was part of getting ready to quilt 3 men’s quilts…I got the first one loaded (I'm pretty sure I made this top at QUAP this year):

before stopping for dinner.

We had ham and scalloped potatoes and some kind of cauliflower mix:

after which I headed back downstairs and kicked off the quilting:

While that was happening, I continued to work on my QoV HST's (I'm trying to do one strip per day) and started to sew the rows together on my 3rd men's quilt. It has to be done by the time I am ready to quilt the 3rd quilt!

*** We keep a potato masher in a drawer, because sometimes it's fun not to be able to open that drawer. ***
