I just couldn’t sleep in Tuesday morning (2/28), so I was up at 6 AM. I got through all of my emails….played my word game…made my tea…and finally headed to my studio. I worked a bit on unpinning the quilts from XENA:
and Pam showed up at 10 AM:
for help with a basket liner. That took us about an hour to iron out, and then we sat and talked until 3 PM!!!!!
It was wonderful….the subject just kept changing and we just kept going. Of course, one of the kitties was facinated by her bag:
When she left, I had a bite of lunch then headed back to the studio to continue working. Michael came home shortly afterwards from PT and grocery shopping. After talking for a bit, we had a bite for dinner, then he headed out to the movies (ANT MAN AND THE WASP) and I putzed around in my studio.
PSA (Public Service Announcement) = So, Michael and I have a sandwich baggie on our refrigerator with a large label on it which says ICE, which stands for In Case of Emergency. First responders (in our area anyway) have been trained to look there if they enter the home and the resident cannot speak. It contains 2 separate 4’’ by 6’’ cards, one for each of us. The cards list our full name, our address, an emergency phone number, our birth dates, our blood type, any allergies, any implants/joint replacements/major surgeries, our PCP (Primary Care Physician) name and phone number, and the medications we are taking. At the top it also lists the last time this info was updated. Our local law enforcement has indicated that in the event of a car accident, first responders will check the glove compartment for this type of info, so I have printed 2 additional cards, put them in a zip lock bag and put that in the glove compartment. Do with this info what you will :~).

I SKYPE’d with Janice Wednesday morning (3/1), then headed immediately across the street for a massage…heaven! When I got home, I fixed a little lunch and read my book out on the lanair. My honey came home from golf around 3 PM, with a score of 87 and we both eventually headed downstairs. I got just a bit of sewing done on my OBW, before SKYPE-ing with BG for about an hour. We had a wonderful time talking, and afterwards, I was glad to get back downstairs to sew a bit:
My newest goal is to have all of the blocks sewn into rows by the end of this coming weekend....stay tuned! Then I will have the arduous task of sewing those long rows to each other.
I stayed in the studio until around 8 PM, when I finally joined my honey back upstairs for some TV watching and knitting.
Kevin's ''do'' is coming in nicely:
*** Not all who wander are lost….some are looking for golf balls. ***
*** I have 6 pack abs….they’re just hidden under my love for CHEESE! ***
Excellent advice on the ICE card!!!
Wheni lose a golf ball - it's gone for good!!!
