So….the story I forgot to tell you about our experience at the Belk….as we are entering, the guy scanning our tickets, looks at Michael….with a full mask on…and says ‘hey, I know you….I’ve seen you around in local theatre….weren’t you HARVEY?’’ HARVEY was TEN years ago, and most of Michael’s face was covered by a mask, but the guy still recognized him….my honey the star!!!

After the late Saturday night, we slept in on Sunday morning (10/3), so got kind of a late start on breakfast (it was oddly shaped pancake day at the Devo house!):

By the end of breakfast, Michael’s heart was feeling very flutter-y, so he headed into the living room for a lie down. I sat and read my book until he felt better, and finally headed to the studio around 1 PM to get my blog out and continue with my latest quilting effort.

When I started this customer quilt, I had to open a new box of batting, and of course Lucy was very curious about it:

I finished up the quilting by dinnertime:

Now to get a label done and the binding applied on the front and it will be OUTTA HERE!!!

I started to embroider a towel for a friend, but didn’t like the font….so I spent the evening ripping that out while watching TV. Michael and I finally had our champagne and puffy things dinner:

to celebrate his safe return from seeing AJ.
