Since several people asked…..we have no idea where Michael might have picked up COVID germs….he did run errands, but was always masked. I opted not to go to quilting on Thursday (2/10) as I didn’t want to take a chance that I am carrying COVID germs and would put people at risk.
So, I was home when our contractors arrived back to finally set up the pool table. What a job!!!! They arrived at 9 AM and were finally done by 11:30 AM:
I spent time in the afternoon getting my customer quilt basted:
and then spent the rest of the afternoon making the traditional birthday cake:
Yes, it was Michael's birthday and his cake tasted just as good as it always does. We may be eating more of it this year than usual....since we're not inviting people over to share it due to his COVID diagnosis. We had Mexican Chicken again for dinner, and it was another early-to-bed night.
This is the last post until some time next weekend, as I will be leaving for my QUAP retreat in the morning.
*** I drink wine because the doctor said that I shouldn’t keep things bottled up! ***
Happy Birthday Michael, hope you over the Covid blues
Yummy cake as always made with much love and chocolate!
