Although it was supposed to rain on and off all day, Michael still left for golf before 8 AM on Monday (7/19). I got through my emails and got my blog out before kicking off quilting once again.
Michael was home by 11 AM…happy to have gotten in 9 holes. At the end of hole # 9 it started to drizzle, so he said ‘that’s it for me’ and headed for home while the other 2 golfers headed to hole #10. On his way home, it started POURING!!
I had to babysit my customer quilt as it had a few ripples here and there on it, but by dinnertime, it was done:

for a quilt top I finished awhile ago, out of strips Janice cut for me while she was here.
I found a new quilt pattern on FB and printed it out because I am HOT to try it, but I am resisting as I have a few other quilts to finish off first. I don’t like to have too many UFO’s (unfinished objects), and my quilts that need to be bound are building up.
I took a tettrazini casserole out of the freezer for dinner….I had labeled it that I hadn’t put a topping on it, so I quickly made up some drop biscuits with garlic & onion powder and some leftover shredded parmesan and that really worked well:
Sue & Charlie are up in Maine and they've finally found a supplier of pierogis on their own:
These look awesome.....Michael hasn't scored any in awhile...the guy at the store said that they tend to make them less often in the summer... :~(.
ATTENTION!!!!! Inez is considering a trip up here in September, so we have already started talking about what recipes we will make for the BAKING WITH INEZ TOUR 2021…stay tuned!
