Friday morning (10/15) was rather busy…Sheila (and old friend from Stitch and Chat) came over in the morning for some knitting help, she was trying to put the brim on a hat for her grandson and had no understanding of the directions. It was relatively easy for me to do and I did all of the rows up until she had to bind off. We got to talk a bit which was nice as I haven't seen you in ages. After she left I hopped in the car for my foot doctor appointment. Well…that certainly didn’t go as planned….she wants to remove my toenail :~(…completely :~(…and not have it grow back. She was ready to do it right then…but I couldn’t face that knowing that I am leaving on Sunday for a week at retreat! So, I guess I’ll have to schedule something when I come home….TOTALLY NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT :~(. But first I’ll have to research it a bit…remember years ago when they were doing hysterectomies on women right and left? And someone finally questioned it, and now that doesn’t happen so much anymore. Well, in the office they were really pushing hard to have it done right then…and one argument was that they do 2 – 3 of these per week! That may be true….but for me it is a huge event…and I have to get used to the idea. If anyone reading this has had it done...feel free to weigh in....
I did a bunch of grocery shopping after that, and by the time I got home, got unpacked, talked with my honey and had a bit of lunch (Michael made a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich that we split), I hit the studio after 2 PM. I managed to finish up cutting strips for one last retreat project:
I may end up making 4 patches for the entire week! We had pierogies again for dinner before Michael left for rehearsal and I settled in with knitting and the TV.

Should I be worried?????
