Sausage soup, Cookie, Janice arrives, Ethel

I got my blog out early Wednesday morning (12/7) (well….I wrote it early….then when I got back on my computer at 3 PM, I discovered I never published it….oh well), giving Michael time to make and eat his breakfast before I took over the kitchen :~).

He left for golf around 9 AM and I got sausage soup in the crockpot:

and made 3 runs of Bailey’s for my upcoming tea:

This is where Cookie spends the majority of her time every day...in the living room, on top of my chair:

I headed back downstairs after I was done. I got clean sheets on the guest room bed and cleaned the bathroom for Janice’s arrival.

Then it was back upstairs to get 2 boxes of goodies packed to be shipped out Thursday:

and get 4 quilts packed to go to dialysis on Thursday:

You've seen all of these very recently except for this one (which I finished a couple of months ago):

After that I relaxed and read my book until Janice showed up, just after 4 PM:

We immediately headed downstairs to start to load up her quilt:

Michael left for dinner out at MAMA's with his Monday golfing group, and Janice and I eventually settled down for some sausage soup….it was YUMMY! We headed back downstairs afterwards and she set up her program and got a few rows done before we quit for the night:
