SHQ Show & Tell

Michael left at 7:15 AM for golf on Thursday (7/18), while I packed up class supplies and headed off to quilting.  I taught a poofy wreath class, with 4 students and 2 sit-ins….

and everyone finished their wreath….each one more beautiful than the other:

We had great show and tell:

-Thanks to a fellow quilter (Donna, she gave you ALL of the credit!), Susie has learned to do a simple grid quilting with no tucks on the back on her smaller quilts, and she's going to town to get a stack of small ones done!

-Diane's quilt as you go...

-LOVE her backing...it's perfect!

-Denise said she laughed all through embroidering these towels...she loved the sayings...

After that was lunch (with that yummy cold meatloaf sandwich), then I headed for home.

I still had several things to get done for Friday, and when Janice showed up at 4:30 PM, she jumped right in to help:

-auditioning the platters and where they all would go

-setting up many extra chairs and tray tables

My caterer showed up around 7 PM to drop off a few items...and Janice and I ran over to a guest's house to drop something off, as she has come down with COVID and can't attend :~(.

After that, wee had a quiet, late dinner and settled in to relax with our books.

And I’m telling you to RUN, not walk, to your local library to get this book….WHAT A RIDE!!!!!:

*** If only you could see yourself through my eyes…..you’d be amazed at how blurry you are! ***

I love the wreaths, Debbie, they are beautiful. I have often wondered how you construct them. As always the quilts are beautiful. 💖☺️
