It's been a long time since I posted the URL where I get these statistics, so here it is. They also break out by state, and show other countries: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

After breakfast (where Cookie made a new friend):
we spent some time quilting in the studio on Thursday morning (1/13) before heading to Scrap Happy. We had a small group, only about 10 or so, but LOTS of show and tell:
-Willa got this as a Christmas present and I thought it was hysterical...and I'm sure my college roommate Debbie will as well:
-take note of the beautiful and perfect free hand quilting Loree did on this:
On the way home we swung by Second Chance to drop off some donations (Janice….I more than filled one of my boxes!!!), and then had a quick bite before picking up Paula and heading off to Corinne’s. All of us found things we just had to own….AZ Mary:
me:
- I have a pattern for a ''potato chip quilt'' that takes only 2 fabrics....so these 2 for men's quilts:
-more potato chip fabric
-and more potato chips for men (that bottom fabric is really brown....not green?!!??!)
-goodly amount of yardage to use for backs
and Paula (who took a bunch of fabric to match as well):
When we got back home again, I noticed something in the kitchen (why do they like to be all snuggled up into the smallest spaces):
W
We quilted until 6 PM:
when we stopped for fish sandwiches that my honey ran out to get from ARBY’s. They were yummy (AZ Mary liked them too), then the ladies retired once again to the studio.
We finished up the quilting, and AZ Mary got all of her basting ripped out and buried her thread ends, before packing it away in her suitcase (she truly must be the BEST packer in the world as you would not believe everything she got into her not-all-that-ginormous suitcase!)
After that we settled in to watch ALL THINGS GREAT AND SMALL. I was talking to her about it and she thought it might be something she liked…..the new second season has already started, but I still have the 1st episode of that season, so I originally thougt we could watch that, and then when she got home, she could record the rest. But then I didn’t want to show her that first episode…because she would miss everything that led up to what happens, so I put in the DVD I have of season 1 and we started to watch!

(Sigh...) Such lovely fabric...looking at all your pretty fabric just made me smile and feel happy, even if none of it came home with me...
I will clean for you!!!
Very true on the final quote ! Love all the show and tell photos.
I think I'm going to have to have you buy some fabric for me when you go to Corinnes, so I can make believe I went too ! Great choices for the potato chip quilts.
